Installation and maintenance tips

To ensure you enjoy your new exhaust for a long time, here are a few helpful tips for you:

1. Installation: Make sure the engine is completely cool before installation. Thoroughly clean the exhaust connection before sliding on the new Slip-On to ensure an optimal seal.

2. First start: Wipe the muffler with a soft cloth and some spirit after installation. Otherwise, fingerprints or grease residues may burn into the material during the first heat-up.

3. Maintenance: Do not use aggressive abrasives for cleaning. A damp microfiber cloth and occasionally a special metal polish will keep the shine (or matte finish) perfectly maintained.
