Installation and care tips

To ensure you enjoy your new exhaust for a long time, here are a few helpful tips for you:

1. Installation: Make sure the engine is completely cool before installation. Thoroughly clean the junction before fitting the new slip-on to ensure an optimal seal.

2. First startup: Wipe the silencer after installation with a soft cloth and some spirit. Fingerprints or grease residues can otherwise permanently burn into the material when it heats up for the first time.

3. Maintenance: Do not use aggressive abrasives for cleaning. A damp microfiber cloth and occasionally a special metal polish will keep the shine (or matte finish) perfectly maintained.

Important: The CH supplementary sheet is only issued for vehicles imported through the official Swiss Vespa general importer and sold through the official Swiss dealer network. Attention: Many dealers (including all foreign providers) deliver the exhaust systems WITHOUT supplementary sheets. This is mandatory for legal use. In the event of a police inspection or during a presentation, the supplementary sheet must be presented.
