Tips for installation and maintenance:Before you insert the new cable into the existing housing, you should check whether the outer housing is clean and undamaged on the inside. An important tip: When inserting, apply a few drops of resin-free sewing machine oil or special cable pull spray to the cable. This significantly reduces friction and protects the steel from corrosion. When shortening the cable, make sure to use a sharp wire rope cutter to prevent the ends from fraying. If you cap the end with an end cap or briefly tin it with a soldering iron, you prevent the wires from unraveling later.
