With the Remus RS 2.0 sports exhaust, REMUS offers a fine update to their RS series. Essentially, the shape and mix of CNC machined aluminum cap with stainless steel silencer remain the same, but there are a few nice innovations.

As with the predecessor, the performance data is, of course, also of interest alongside the appearance. Remus offers a slight increase in power and torque, which could be implemented by the in-house research and development department. The rich sound and weight optimization round off the sporty character of the RS exhaust system.

One-piece silencer casing
The most striking innovation is the large, embossed REMUS logo. The reason is the new manufacturing process of the casing, which is no longer welded from two halves but made from a single piece using hydroforming. This way, the REMUS lettering is also shaped into the casing and is no longer laser-engraved.

New end cap
The CNC machined end cap is also new, and there is a reason behind this as well. The systems are available with three differently colored decorative rings that sit between the end cap and the silencer. Whether black, red, or gold anodized aluminum decorative ring, everyone is sure to find the ideal system to suit their taste.

-71% reduced CO² emissions
The elaborate testing procedures to obtain approval for an exhaust system are not only costly but also not very environmentally friendly, as thousands of kilometers must be driven to pass the test. REMUS has an alternative method to achieve test approval: with a catalyst that can show a significantly improved filtration performance compared to the original, it is no longer necessary to drive unnecessarily many kilometers; instead, the testing procedure can be confirmed in less than 100 kilometers. This results in a drastic reduction of CO² emissions.
