To ensure you enjoy your new exhaust for a long time, here are a few helpful tips for you:

Installation: Make sure the engine is completely cool before installation. Thoroughly clean the header connection before sliding on the new slip-on to ensure optimal sealing.
First Start: Wipe the muffler after installation with a soft cloth and some spirit. Otherwise, fingerprints or grease residues can burn permanently into the material upon first heating.
Care: Do not use aggressive abrasives for cleaning. A damp microfiber cloth and occasionally a special metal polish will keep the shine (or matte finish) perfectly intact.
