Installation and Maintenance Tips

Installation

1. Secure your Vespa on a flat surface with the main stand.

2. The side stand is mounted at the designated attachment points on the frame and connected to the integrated safety switch, which blocks starting when the stand is extended.

3. When hooking in the double return spring, be sure to use a suitable spring pliers or a sturdy loop to avoid injury.

4. After installation, check whether the stand folds out smoothly, the engine does not start with the stand extended, and it fully folds in by itself when the vehicle is raised.

Maintenance

• Regularly clean the joint and the contact switch from road dirt and fine dust.

• Occasionally apply a drop of high-quality lubricating or penetrating oil to the joint pin so that the folding mechanism continues to function smoothly and safely.
