Care & Handling Tips

• Charging Correctly: Only use the appropriate Shimano charger. To maximize the lifespan of the cells, it is ideal to charge the battery at room temperature.

• Winter Storage: If you are not using your bike for an extended period, you should store the battery at about 10°C to 20°C in a dry place. The charge level should ideally be between 30% and 60%.

• Cleaning: The battery is splash-proof. Clean it and the contacts as needed with a slightly damp cloth. Never use a high-pressure cleaner directly on the electrical components!

• Installation: When inserting, make sure that the battery clicks firmly into place to ensure a secure connection and protection from shocks during the ride.

• Service Life: approximately 1000 full charge cycles, without significant loss of performance
• Only Necessary Maintenance: Clean and grease battery terminals and connectors (terminal grease, technical petroleum jelly, silicone-free)
