Replacing the piston ring requires a bit of patience and craftsmanship. For optimal results, please follow these instructions:

Careful Installation: Since piston rings are made of cast iron and are therefore extremely brittle, you should only stretch the ring minimally when fitting it onto the piston. Bending too much will inevitably lead to breakage.
Observe Position: There is a small locking pin in the ring groove of the piston. The opening (the joint) of the piston ring must be precisely positioned at this pin during installation.
Lubrication is Key: Before inserting the piston into the cylinder, you should thoroughly lubricate both the piston ring and the cylinder bore with fresh two-stroke oil to prevent a dry first start.
