Installation & Maintenance Tips:

• Installation: Clean the intake manifold and the inside of the carburetor thoroughly before inserting the sleeve. It should fit snugly but must not be forced in. A small drop of oil can help make it easier to slide the sleeve into the carburetor flange.

• Check: After installation, check whether the carburetor is securely fitted and can no longer turn on the manifold. Only a firm connection guarantees that no false air is being drawn in.

• Maintenance: As plastic can become brittle over the years due to heat and gasoline, it's worthwhile to check the condition of the sleeve during each major carburetor cleaning. Cracks mean: time for a replacement!
