Driven by the goal of making motorcycle riding more practical, Roof developed a new helmet, the ROOF DESMO, the first fully modular full-face helmet. Several years in the development center in southern France were necessary for the creation of this model RO31, a true innovation, born from the combination of Roof's unique traditions of safety, ergonomics, and design.

The movement of the chin piece automatically controls the movement of the visor, which immediately adopts the position for the respective configuration, sealing tightly as a full-face helmet and exclusively for the open jet, for which the visor comes closer to the face to minimize turbulence. Visor open or closed - everything is possible.
3D comfort - you won’t want to take it off!
Inner liner, cheek pads, neck roll, and wind deflector made of ventilated 3D fabric, removable, washable, and adaptable to your head shape for very high comfort.
Venturi air intake - Let the wind in your hair!
The air inlets via depression at the front and top ensure very pleasant ventilation of the head and facial area. The intensity of the ventilation can be adjusted with one hand.
Dual seal - Challenge the rain! The perfect tightness of the Desmo is achieved by using two exclusive Roof seals that seal through compression and sliding over each other. A lip seal on the helmet and a second seal made of special foam that automatically returns to its original shape at the chin piece.
Deflective ventilation - Breathe, you may! A deflector directs air directly onto the inner surface of the visor when needed, allowing for quick elimination of fogging. It is therefore very effective in various weather conditions.
One-hand Desmove closure - Keep control! The closure mechanism is secure and ergonomic. Closing the chin piece by simply flipping it down into the full-face position. Opening by simultaneously pressing the stacked snap fasteners. One hand is enough to switch from jet to full-face position and back again.
