The LED technology reduces failure rates to a minimum and ensures high light intensity.
Attention: The use of a 6V voltage regulator is essential.
BA15D bulbs were originally commonly used in Puch lamps as well as in practically every Sachs moped.
In the meantime, of course, other mopeds have also been equipped with a lamp with such a base.
Therefore, it is best to remove your old bulb before ordering and check exactly what you need.
Total length of the bulb is 47.5 mm
You can recognize the bulb with the BA15D base by the bayonet mount and that it is mounted from the front into the lamp.
At the back, both pins must come onto a bracket that makes contact.
With this LED bulb, you can upgrade your moped from standard incandescent bulbs to LED.
Since many moped riders are not satisfied with their light, such an upgrade could be the solution.
It is important to note that LED bulbs only work with voltage regulators, as they cannot withstand large voltage fluctuations.
You can find the suitable regulator models linked below in the accessories.
The whole LED story is of course also available for the rear.
You can also find these bulbs linked below in various versions.
Often the question arises: 6 or 12 volts?
With the voltage regulator, it doesn't really matter much in principle.
What we can certainly recommend is to use a 6 volt LED upgrade on original mopeds that run a maximum of 35 km/h and not 12V.
Anyone who has installed an internal rotor ignition or any other 12V ignition system, of course, needs the 12V upgrade.
What tuners with breaker ignition and racing kits want to install, they have to decide for themselves.
