Your exhaust no longer looks fresh or you've discovered rust spots? With the Motip Heat Resistant Exhaust Paint in classic black, you can quickly give your exhaust system, engine block, or grill a new, elegant look. This special paint is extremely heat-resistant and withstands temperatures up to 800°C without chipping or cracking.

The paint impresses with its excellent adhesion and is also resistant to gasoline, chemicals, and weather influences. Thus, the deep black tone remains intact even after many kilometers and hot rides. Since it comes in a spray can, the application is particularly uniform and easy.

Application & Care Tips

• Preparation: The surface must be clean, dry, and free of grease. Thoroughly remove loose rust and old paint with a wire brush or sandpaper.

• Painting: Spray in several thin coats from about 25 cm away. Better to apply three thin coats than one too thick to avoid runs.

• Curing: The paint dries at room temperature but only hardens properly with heat. Allow the paint to dry for about an hour and then drive your vehicle to warm it up (or carefully heat the part) so that the paint fully cures at about 160°C to 200°C. There may be a slight smoke development for a short time – this is completely normal.

• Care: After curing, the surface is very resistant. For cleaning, water with a mild cleaner is sufficient.
