- The inner surfaces of the piston have been machined flat for clean guidance of the connecting rod bearing.
- The piston sleeve has been optimized.
- The intake angles of the transfer ports have been adjusted.

With these innovations, the 38mm cylinder kit with the right settings delivers a solid 1.6 HP to the rear wheel. Thus, the strongest "original tuning cylinder" for Puch that has ever existed.
