Installation & Care Tips

• Temperature is everything: To install the bearing gently, you should evenly warm the engine casing (about 80-100 degrees) and ideally cool the bearing in the freezer. This way, it almost slips into the seat by itself.

• No force: Only use appropriate tools for installation. Pressure should only be applied to the outer bearing ring when inserting it into the housing.

• Lubrication: Make sure there is enough fresh transmission oil in the housing at the first start after the revision so that the bearings are immediately lubricated.
