Larger carburetors increase cylinder filling and improve internal cooling, resulting in higher performance and durability. The carburetors are pre-tuned, usually a fine-tuning via the main jet is sufficient. Carburetors from 19-21mm are suitable for most mid-race and racing cylinders.
