Installation and Care Tips

• Careful Cleaning: Before installing the new spacer, you should thoroughly clean the entire crankshaft and the bearing housing from old grease, dirt, and any metal filings.

• Lubrication: Although the plastic is extremely lubricious, it is recommended to apply a thin film of high-quality multipurpose grease on the crankshaft during installation to facilitate assembly and prevent moisture ingress.

• Check for Wear: While replacing, also check the bottom bracket spacers themselves as well as the crankshaft for any wear grooves or damages to ensure a perfectly running pedal system.
